He stomps through the city, shaking the ground
While helpless people are trying to hide.
Crushing the buildings with a terrible sound,
Godzilla stands tall and beams with his pride.
He picks up a bus and throws it back down,
Destroying the earth which is his playground.
People scream, his destruction is renown,
Tokyo city goes down pound for pound.
Tanks roll in and helicopters come by,
And soldiers, left and right, surround this beast.
Dark gray smoke envelopes the clear blue sky,
Red fiery breath from his mouth released.
Man versus beast, the battle of power.
The last showdown, the decisive hour.

Death is always less painful and easier than life . . . and yet we do not, day to day, choose death. Because ultimately, death is not the opposite of life, but the opposite of choice. Death is what you get when there are no choices left to make.
